Visitor Visa Processing time

Hi,

I'm currently residing in USA on H1B visa and applied for a visitor visa to Canada. But when I applied for the visa I was on F1 and recently my status changed to H1B. I have travel plans soon but haven't heard from them despite crossing the expected processing time. Can someone help me understand how long it could take for the complete process? I have planned my travel to Canada in 3 weeks. (I haven't been requested for biometrics yet)

Would be best to update your profile to include the fact that you have H1B and are employed. At this point it might not reach your profile in time. Processing times are only estimates and applications can sometime takes months. Getting a TRV can actually be quite challenging so it is always best to get the visa before booking travel.

To apply for visa it requested proof of travel and hence I had to book my tickets. Also, I have my wedding planned so I have to travel to Canada. Is there a way I can expedite the process maybe some premium processing option?
