Visitor visa online processing status - US visa center

Hello,

I submitted the visitor visa form online 3 weeks back.

I received the confirmation of online transmission the next day but since then I haven't heard back from the office and there is no change to the Application/Profile status either. The status remains "Open".

I'm assuming that my online application is getting processed by the NY visa office since I'm applying from Florida and my travel is to Toronto. The current processing times for the NY visa office says 41 days.

Any suggestions on when to expect a response.
