Visitor Visa online application 2 months no reply

Hey everyone,
My father in law applied for visitor visa online from US on Nov 19 2014.On that day we received Submission Confirmation and since then application status is open.
It has been almost 2 months and still no change in the status.

I contacted LA office and NY office but they don't accept calls for Visa.
Please help me,Who should I call or I should just wait??

I applied online on Dec 16, but still didn't get any update. One of the member in this forum he applied on Dec 2 and got passport Request Dec 22.

I think it is different base on the cases.

2. New York Visa Office takes about 42 days to process and Los Angeles Visa Office takes about 33 days to process, in receipt of a complete package - in 80% of the cases. Has your processing time exceeded already? Please note the times are subject to changes as well.

Yes we submitted the complete package and It has been 60 days to date.
