Visitor Visa from Oman - Taking too long

I applied for my father and mother in law's visitor visa last year 23-June-2022 from Oman. Biometric completed on 29-June-22.
Initially the processing time was 110 days. Every week the processing time kept of increasing and now it has reached 315 days. Waiting since then
Anyone with similar situation? Thinking to involve Canadian local MP

As long as your application is within the posted processing time, there is nothing you can do
Processing times are average estimates only

If you have an immediate need to travel or any health conditions, you can attach a doctor note & raise a web form asking to expedite but this is not guaranteed.
