Hi,

I am a PR in Canada and wish to apply for my mother and brother's visitor visa. I have no concerns for inviting my mom but my brother who is around 38 years and does not work back home. How can I make the case solid for both of them for TRV?

Currently my brother is dependent on mother for all expenses and has no work experience.

Appreciate any expert advice on this.

Thanks

Does he attend school? He needs to show some sort of ties to his home country.

Has he previously traveled to countries requiring visas such as the US and UK?

He did attend high school but has never travelled any country. But he depends on parent for expenses. I can declare on notarized paper that he will leave country within permitted time period. There is some bank balance on his name but nothing apart from that.

Will any declaration from my parent help the visa case?

Hello !

If I apply TRV for brother and parent, is it possible that visa for parent is accepted and brother is rejected ?

Appreciate any response.

A notarized declaration from you is useless. It cannot be legally enforced. A declaration from your parents will not help either.

With no job, no travel history, no money and no real ties to his country, he has little chance of approval.

Thanks for response. But as I asked is it possible if I apply for parent and brother and only parent visa is approved and brother's rejected? This way I will take chance of applying for both.

Really appreciate.

Both can apply but your brother weakens your parents' app.
