I am very sorry for you and your wife. Being unemployed is unfortunately seen as a sign of weak ties to home country. In order to get a temporary visa your ties to home must be stronger than the pull to stay in Canada.

now as we are gonna apply for OWP .. i dont being unemplyd shud be an issue ???

I hear what you are saying, but you are applying for a temporary visa and the VO needs to be convinced that your wife will not be tempted to overstay. If she is unable to get a job in her home country, what incentive does she have to leave Canada? That's how they look at it.

Crystal ball stuff, but we all hope so. Fingers crossed. It would be wonderful if all visas were processed positively in such quick time. All the best.

I applied for my fathers multiple entry visitor visa for about 5 and a half months online on Nov 21. I received a request for medicals the same eve. I am wondering about the same. Is medical request for a parents multiple entry visa common. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone,

I had applied for my TRV on September 6. I still haven't received a passport request yet. I have my flight on December 17.

I just wanted to ask that when I get a passport request, instead of mailing them my passport, can I personally go to the LA Consulate and get it stamped?
