Visitor Visa Biometric scan

Hello,

I am planning to apply visitor visa for my father using my CIC account. He is in india now. As per the new rule, he has to give his finger prints to CIC. I wonder, If I apply online, when he will give his prints? While submitting his passport (upon approval of his application)

Once you file his application online, you will get an automated message asking to make payment of 85$ for Biometrics. Once you upload the receipt, you will get another email asking the applicant to give their Biometric at the nearby VFS office. Once your Father gives the Biometric, the VFS agent will upload the results post which you should wait for the application approval process..

Note that your Father need to book an appointment in advance with the VFS office to give his Biometrics.
