Visitor Visa Applied on 23rd May from US on Pakistani Passport

Hello everyone,
I applied for Canadian Visit visa on 23rd May..I submitted my biometrics in San Francisco on 25th May and after that I have not received any response on my application. I emailed CPC office..They said it’s still under process under regulatory requirement.
Any one else faced same issue? What do you suggest?

Can I ask what visa u currently hold in the states ? Also what was the process you followed to apply for the visa? And what documents u submitted? Thanks

I am a student in the US on F1 visa. I gave my bank statement/credit card, letters from university and reservations in Canada and I applied online.

What reservations did you show (like hotel )? I'm asking because my brother in law to be has a f1 visa and we would like to apply for his temp visit visa. Are there any other tips you can provide for the application process?
