Hi,

Recently, my closed work permit and my wife’s SOWP were finally approved after about eight months of processing. I have now applied for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) inside Canada through an agent to keep the process simple.

I have a planned vacation on December 8, and I was wondering how long it is currently taking to get a TRV processed from inside Canada. I noticed that the IRCC website shows a processing time of 16 days — is that accurate based on recent experiences?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

My son is in Ireland and wanted to submit his canada visitor visa. What is the time line for canada visitor visa if applied from Ireland.

Hi, Applied for visitor visa on 14th October for parents in India
Received client application summary and biometrics request only for my mother.
My father is a primary applicant however the last message received was only "Submission Confirmation".
Is this normal? when I can expect client application summary and biometrics request for my father?
Hi, How is this application going? Is your parents application approved?

I’m an Indian passport holder living in Saudi Arabia, and I’ve already faced two Canada visa rejections — one in Dec 2024 and another in Feb 2025. I applied again for the 3rd time in Aug 2025 with stronger documents and a clearer purpose of travel. Based on my experience and what I see from others in a similar situation, IRCC looks at each application fresh, not based on past refusals. I’m hoping this time it will get approved,— but I wanted to ask, does anyone know from their experience if the chances are better on the third attempt?
It is based on past refusals because you need to address reasons for refusals in your new application. Your biggest hurdle is that you don't live in country of citizenship and may not have long term residency in SA or ties to return. You applied 3 times in less than one year and that may raise red flags to IRCC. So no, it doesn't approve your chances Why apply so many times?

I’ve been working in Saudi Arabia for the past 12 years with a stable job and legal long-term residency. In my latest application, I showed sufficient funds—around 25,000 CAD—for just a one-week trip, and I have strong ties both in KSA and India. So I’m not sure what additional factors they expect beyond this. I addressed the previous refusal reasons as well

But why apply three times in one year for a one week trip? I don't know your reasons for refusals in first two applications so don't know what you changed from application to application. Ties to return are spouse/ children, income property, business, job letter with approved leave etc. You cannot show strong ties to India if you haven't lived there in 12 years.
