Applied July 2nd, July 07th (Biometric completed). Application got approved for parents visitor visa on Oct 20th and requested for passport.

I had missed to submit proof of ties with the initial application. So, I submitted that thru a webform in September. Thats pretty much.

Where did you apply from? Lived in other countries? Military/police background? Visa refusals from different countries?

Parents reside in India and I applied on their behalf (as an unpaid representative) from Canada. They have never traveled outside of India but have strong ties to India. No military/police background and no refusals yet.

So processed from India. They can raise a webform but nothing much to do.

Applied on July 1, 2025 and completed biometrics on July 7, 2025. Since then there has been no updates at all.

Tracker was last updated on July 13th. Eligibility not started and background in progress.

Update: Parents' visitor visa just got approved today on October 28th.

Any update for June applicants? I am still waiting. Applied on 29th June for sister in law. It is getting frustrating now.

I am aware 2 applicants from June 16 and June 27 still waiting [India] ..TRV has a backlog. Am assuming it is to do with recent news on cracking down fraudulent applications etc.. [Check CBC Story]

Applied on June 29 for in-law. Biometrics done on july 9th.
Raised webform and reachout to MP office as well. Got confirmation from them that IRCC responded on Sep 17th with info that the applicant passed criminality and decision will be released soon. Its been almost 2 months now and no response or decision yet.
