Hello,

I am permanent resident in canada and my partner lives in australia on foreign temporary work visa. can he apply visitor visa for canada and we can get married in ontario.
can we show this reason in our application of visitor visa that we are getting married here ?

That's not a good idea unless you have a preference application in progress it will only lead to a refusal as it clearly shows your partners plans to visit Canada are not temporary
