Hey so i cam e in canada in 2023 as a student for 1 year course. i got 1 year post graduate work permit which expired in feb 2024. Someone gave me LMIA but the work permit got rejected at i got converted into visitor status. Now my question is that 'CAN I CHANGE MY STATUS FROM VISITOR TO STUDENT WITHIN CANADA?'

So you have PAL and LOA? You can apply for a new study permit but processed from home country/citizenship. By converted, you mean you applied for a visitor record and it was approved. Your title says "visitor to work permit"

Do you still have valid status? When did you apply for the visitor record? What did your WP refusal say in terms of status? In general unless you have an extremely good reason to go back to school and it is a reputable school and an advanced degree you should plan on returning home and working to qualify for PR or a WP from there. At home you should learn French, consider returning to school to study a field in demand like nursing example, etc.
yes I still have visitor status till march 6. and I am planning to apply to universities from within Canada and then apply for visitor extention
You need to apply to extend visitor status before March 6. You need admission with unconditional approval and PAL (approval from the province) before you can submit study permit application. For some Masters programs, the deadline for Fall may have passed. You may not get this by March 6. If you are a visitor then processed from home country.
What program are you hoping to attend because you have to show education advancement and career progression when you return home. Explain why you must take the program in Canada when you have already studied here and had PGWP. Make sure you have lots of cash in your bank account.

So you applied for a visitor record around 3-4months ago after your WP was refused? What did your work permit refusal say in terms of your status? Your attempts to keep extending your time in Canada could be problematic. Would help if you were doing an advanced degree at a reputable university.
When exactly did you apply for a visitor record? Traditionally you would have only been awarded a 6 months stay. What did the work permit refusal say because that can overrule your l visitor status? If you have been on a visitor records for over a year extended again will likely be incredibly difficult.
I wouldn’t get your hopes up
It’s quite plain to see you don’t want to leave . If I can see that , and I don’t work for the IRCC , the VO will definitely see it. You’re just attempting to move your cards around to make it appear you’re doing something , but you’re not . And you don’t get another PGWP
What pray tell have you been doing here as a “visitor “ for nearly two years ?
I find it hard to believe that you’ve been on approved visitor status for two years
And people generally can’t just abandon their home country for years .
They have ties they have to return to. You’ve shown you don’t have any and that doesn’t bode well to get another student permit
