Hi!
I'm a UK citizen and have been in Canada since July 1st 2017. I've got a visitor record which expires Jan 1st 2019, which was an extension of my six month initial visitor stay.
I'm wanting to visit a friend in the US and for financial reasons am having to cross the border on foot (dropped off by my husband, picked up by friend). Will I be able to return to Canada with my visitor record? It says not authorized for re-entry however I've seen that single entry visas can be used for re-entry (I'm aware I don't have a visa as I'm a UK citizen, just wondered if similar rules apply)
I tried ringing the number on the back of my visitor record but was hung up on due to the line being too busy - any advice would be greatly appreciated!
