Hello. I have a question regarding the Visitor Record. I am a US Citizen, I travelled by car across the border in August and received a Visitor Record. The Visitor Record expires 2/1/24. However I have since left Canada on December 4th and returned December 11th. My passport was not stamped on re entry and they didn't ask for my Visitor Record.

My First question is: What happens now? Is the Visitor Record still in effect? Do I still need to leave by the date given on the Visitor Record? If not, does that mean the 6 months refreshed when I re-entered Canada?

Second Question : Also if you have any recommendations on how I can get in touch with a border agent. I am having a hard time getting ahold of a person rather than pre recorded info that gives me another number to call or sends me to the canadian gov website. It is also proving difficult since I have a US number.

Thank you so much for your help.

You can stay another 6 months. Would avoid the border until you get more permanent status in Canada. You may not be able to enter Canada easily the next time since you appear to be living in Canada as a visitor.
