I am American and worked in Canada for 4 years and bought a car while up there. For the past year I worked in the USA because my work visa in Canada expired but I haven’t imported my car yet because I’m wanting to move back to Canada and then get pr. I get questioned on my car when I cross but the last time (visiting my girlfriend of 2 years) the cbsa officer kept my passport for a minute and shut the window at the booth (a land crossing). I’m assuming he would’ve been specific if there was a big issue but it gave me concern on what he was doing. Thanks
