Hi,

My wife's sister applied for visitor extension a month back and is scheduled to leave a few days from now. Her online application has been updated with a new Medical Examination form (today), which I assume means she needs to undergo a medical exam. The trouble is we have a hard time scheduling her appointment due to the very short notice. Note that we haven't received any physical mail from CIC with the actual request, just that the MyCIC messages have been updated. She is also on Implied Status at the moment.

My question is, will it affect her chances of getting another Visitor Visa or being admitted into Canada (again in the future) if she leaves before completing the Medical Examination?

Appreciate your response!

No....

In fact that would be good, as she wouldn't be a visitor anymore, so her stay ended on the right terms.

Thanks for the reply.

I forgot to mention that she is on Implied Status at the moment, since the visitor extension took longer than the stated "processing times" when the application was submitted.

It is understood, as per the OP. In any other case she would be illegally staying in Canada and I would have mentioned it.
