My husband's visitor status expires in 1 month. We are ready to submit his in-land spousal sponsorship PR application this week and will include an Open Work Permit application.
Is my understanding correct that we should also apply to extend his visitor status in case his application got returned for any reason (missing info, etc.) or in case his OWP got denied?
Is it better to apply to extend the visitor status before we send off the PR application package?
My thought was to pay the PR application fees, include that receipt in the visitor extension application, and after that's submitted send off the PR application.
Any guidance appreciated!
