Can or should I say will my wife be granted a visitors vista while her papers are being processed? This processing time is so long and I can’t do without her

probably not because they will say her desire to come back will be less if you are there. prairie

if u apply inland, ur spouse must stay in canada and ask for visitor's visa extension. unless u apply outland then she might not get extension. ur question is not clear..

I am doing an outside appl, applied for a visa extension and got a year more so i it shouldn't be a problem.

My husband applied for tourist visa while his pr application was in process. They refused him, saying that there is no need for him to visit me now since his pr is "going to be done soon". Good luck!

From what i've been reading on the forum, it seems like she's unlikely to get a visitor's visa. But try anyway, because some people got lucky and managed to visit their spouses while waiting. I tried my luck and visited over Christmas So try it, you might just get lucky.
