I am a permanent resident. My Mom got a temporary resident visa and she decided to visit me. Now, she would like to stay in Canada for a longer time frame, but my income isn't high enough right now for me to apply for her super visa.

If she had a visit visa for the US, would it be possible for her to visit the US for a day or two, and then be back in Canada for another six months?

Is this something she could do every six months to extend her stay in Canada for the remaining duration of her Canadian temporary resident visa?

It is too expensive for her to go back to Pakistan, and then come back.

Thank you.

If she wants to stay in Canada for another six months, she should apply for an extension from within Canada.

Doing a border run is risky and has lower chances of being a success. If she tries this, it's quite possible they won't extend her stay.
