Hi guys, I'm wanting to know when coming over on a British passport for the 6 month maximum - and wanting to extend it, how do you go about doing so? I wish to extend it due to hopefully gaining common law status - and just wondered who I call, and what I say when I call/apply...

Do I tell them it's for common law?
