It means they are reviewing the information you have submitted, and yes, your eligibility

Thanks for your reply Ryvinson,
At least they start working on the application, how long will take to complete the eligibility review? Just a wild guess.

If an officer reviews your file, it can take few days to few weeks

If Chinook does it, then a few hours [ I know this from personal exp and having done a JR on a wrong refusal]

My parents eligibility started May 31,2022 after that no update. How long could it take ? And does this means there is something of concern?

Hi
I am applying visitor visa for my mother. She is educated but has never worked after marriage and my father passed away 6 months ago. While applying for the visitor visa application for her, I can see that they ask work experience. There is no option for unemployed or homemaker. I mentioned this option with years defined, the portal is not accepting it. Please help how to proceed.
Thanks!

This can take days to weeks to Months. Sadly IRCC has not stipulated processing and it is just luck that counts.

Does your mother have her own funds? She need not be working but she has to show her own funds and home ties

I submitted an application on March 31 and eligibility started May 10. I raised many webforms; however, the last one I sent yesterday, I got an immediate response (same day) saying "Kindly note that your application is currently with the officer for review. You will be contacted as soon as a decision is reached or if additional documents are required"... is this the final step? Should I be expecting a decision anytime soon?

2. Property Evaluation (Report prepared by CA): 75-80 lakhs.
3. ITR: Filed till 2016 and Housewife from 2016 till present
3. Passport
4. Photo
5. Filled the complete details in the new portal about employment, family details etc.
6. Visit Duration: One Month
7. Spouse's Death Certificate (June 2002)

Inviter documents:
1. Bank Statements Last 6 months.
2. Tax return: Last 3 yrs, 2019,2020,2021

4. Invitation Letter
