Dear Forum users
is it possible to get any sort of visa (for kids) to go to canada in the meanwhile when application for citizenship is under process for kids born outside canada.
Also my wifes PR card has expired , which category visa she needs to accompany me as I am a canadian citizen

1. If your kids were born after you got your Canadian Citizenship and you got this by birth in Canada/Naturalization they are also Citizens - apply for their proof of citizenship and temporary Canadian passports.

2. If they were born before you were a citizen then you should have included them in your application as minors. If not then apply for TRVs (if they are non visitor visa exempt). They will likely get rejected so apply for TRP and if approved return to Canada and sponsor them inland under H&C (18-24 months) or outland (time depends on your visa post). If they are visitor visa exempt then travel back and expalin your situation at the port of entry then go with inland or outland sponsorship.

3. If your spouse can provide proof of your relationship and time together she should apply for a TD then when you are back in Canada for a PR Card. This is due to the absurd mother of all loopholes that a PR accompanying a Canadian citizen abroad maintains their PR. If visitor visa exempt then travel back and expalin your situation at the port of entry and apply for a PR Card inalnd.
