Hello
My husband and I were recently rejected under 179(b) based on our travel history, family ties in canada and home.country and lastly our purpose of visit.
We have both travelled to the US and UK right from when we were kids till adult ages.
We had a family holiday in UK in 2017,Dubai in 2018 and planned for this in summer 2019 as we have a tradition for an annual familyholiday.
We do not have any family member in canada and we have most of our extended family arr here in our home country.
We intended going on a family holiday with.our 2yr old son who was born in the US (All hospital bills were paid to this effect in 2016.My US Visa renewal in sept 2018 was denied due to need for more documents from the hospital i used and i intend to reapply after the 6 month waiting window)My husband has never been denied a visa.
We have sufficient funds to cover the trip as shown in our application as we both have very good paying jobs and good investments.

based on the reasons we dont understand why there will be doubt that we wouldnt come back after a family vacation ? Why will we abandon our very good jobs , assets and family here. Or could the reason be because of my US visa denial?
I will appreciate a response to this.

Definitely not an expert but the red flag may be that your son was born in the US. The US and Canada share immigration information and Canada may have flagged you for possible birth tourism.

I’m seeing more instances of denials lately for people who are well established in their home countries and never violate the terms of their visa but have given birth in Canada or the US. I would suggest that you order GCMS notes to get the refusal reason.
