Hello I am a Canadian Citizen, by birth. I met my husband online and we were married on January 26th, 2018 in Tunisia Africa. My husband and I applied for a temp resident visa to visit me in Canada on June 27th this year and it was refused. We have not even received and explanation why and we are devastated with this news. What should we do next?

TRV's for spouse/family members are notoriously difficult to get. Not impossible, but very difficult. IRCC believes that most spouses are not "true" visitors (they are only in Canada for a short visit) and will stay beyond the granted entry (usually for spousal sponsorship). In order to get a TRV he would need to supply significant proof that he will return to his home country in the prescribed period. The other option is to sponsor him for his PR.
