Hello. My mother has been refused a visa for a following reason: reason 40(1) (a) and they ban her for 5 years. My question is: She has a US visa interview coming up and do you think the ban will show up in the US database?

Yes - Canada and the US share information. If she is asked about the misrepresentation ban in Canada or if she has ever been refused a visa to another country, she needs to be 100% honest in her US interview.
