Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well! I'm currently in the process of applying for a Work Permit outside Canada, and I have a few questions regarding how visa offices prioritize cases in their queue, specifically for non-GTS applications.

Assuming there are 40 cases submitted on the same day, does the visa office sort or prioritize cases based on factors like NOC (National Occupation Classification) code, wage, or location of work? For example, if two applicants have the same submission date but one is in a higher wage bracket or working in a different location, does this affect how their applications are processed?

I would greatly appreciate any insights or experiences from those who have gone through the process or have knowledge of how the visa offices handle such cases.

Thanks in advance for your help!

There's no such prioritization.
