VISA Office on Generic Application [IMM 0008]

I have already sent my application on June 26th, 2013 but just realized that I have indicated a wrong VISA office on my Generic Application Form [IMM 0008].

I did not leave it blank but indicated my home country's VISA office instead of CPP-O even though I am residing in Canada. The reason because is that when I inquired what to put in this section at the CIC call centre, that is what the agent told me to indicate and she did not mention anything about CPP-O. But then again, I did not mention to her that I live in Canada as well.

Do you think the agent at CIO will know my small mistake and be generous enough to automatically send it to CPP-O? I have read some people getting their apps returned because of leaving it blank (or wrote Buffalo) but some others were also getting their AORs. Ahh, I guess this will all depend on who is going to be receiving and reviewing my app at the CIO.

Any comments or advises will mean a lot to me. Thank you.

From my experience in this forum, they will strike it and correct the office to CPP-OTTAWA..
