Yesterday, my cousin was bound to Canada but the airport personnel didn't allow him to board the plane. They said his Visa was invalid in the system but when I checked his visa it was stated that it was valid until next year. Can someone help me explain why it happened? What steps should he do to make his visa valid in the system? Thank you.

Giving no information. What type of working visa. So he has a positive, valid Lmia with a written job offer. Is his LMIA valid. Valid medicals.
I don't know what type but I think it's employer-specific work permits. He will work in a restaurant there.
So he has a LMIA with employer specific work permit. Was the LMIA cancelled even though the work permit is valid. Talk to the employer. Call IRCC but you can’t. Your cousin has to talk to them as you will not have authorization to ask on his behalf.
How did your brother find this job and did he personally receive the WP. Unfortunately there are a lot of scams out there so that also could be an option,
