Hi, I recently received my permanent resident visa passport but I have not landed in canada yet. Then i found out that I am 6 weeks pregnant. can I land to Canada (planning to go mid of July) and go home after a month to get married (planning to go home last week of August)? I am a Filipino Citizen by the way.. Can you please help me with this? Thank you so much..

Yes - you can do all of those things.

I assume you will want to sponsor your new husband after you get married. You should be aware that to sponsor your husband you will have to return to Canada and live there while the application is being processed.

thank you so much for you reply.. Can I ask again, is it better if I have our child be born in canada or it doesn't matter if i give birth here in the Philippines? Thank you again..

Canada. It might cost you more but you will not have to sponsor the child as it will be a Canadian citizen.
