Visa for parents applied in July using GC key- should I apply again?

I've applied for my parents TRV in July (they are from Iran), after 7 months still nothing. I've send multiple web forms and contacted local MP, but nothing came out of it, just that they have passed eligibility.

Should I apply again on the new portal? This is very inconvenient as we have to do everything from scratch and it still has a 2 month wait time.
