As long as your debit card would work for that amount, then no problems.
Your debit card shouldn't ask for pin or any password during the transaction, if yes, then you are good to go.
As indicated in the previous post, it might be a good idea to use a DD if you are in doubt.
The only advantage of using card payment, is that you get a window to manage your funds, if that is not required, you may want to choose the DD/banker's cheque option.
