Visa Chances January intake

Hello everyone,
I'm writing to get some views regarding Visa chances as I've already applied offline from Kolkata VFS on December 7th. Medicals done on 27th November.

Course Applied - Public Relations PG Certificate at Humber College, Lakeshore campus.


My profile as follows,
10th - 72 %
12th - 75 %
Bachelors in English Literature - 45% (no backlogs)
Completed MBA in Fashion Media with 70% in each semester.
IELTS - 7.0 overall
(Reading & Writing - 6.5
Speaking - 7.0
Listening - 8.0)


Educational Documents provided - All marksheets and certificates till the third semester of MBA (last semester under process explained in SOP)
Course Completion Certificate from the current college stating I'm a Bona-fide student.
Character certificate from school

Finance Documents - GIC Certificate, First Semester fees receipt, Bank Statements past 4 months, Bank Letter, Affidavit of Sponsorship by Dad, Dad's ITRs, Fixed Deposit papers, Payment transaction receipts.

SOP - Two and half pages explaining everything from low score in Graduation, year gaps, future goals, intentions to come back to India, opportunities in India regarding my course, and why did I choose PG Certificate after MBA and relativity to my previous studies also explained that I will get my degree in 2018 so I don't want to wait for it.

So in this case embassy will count my MBA as last education and not Graduation right?

checklist clearly says to submit your application before dec 1 for jan intake.....i know a guy who submitted after dec 1....he got into university of toronto for a management program....not sure wheteher it is mba. ... but he was rejected....he said its because he submitted after dec1 and even he had couple of backlogs.... currently he is in NZ for his masters.........

Any update? Initially, I applied on 24th November, it was an online application. I got refusal on 11th December. My agent re-applied today but he applied offline at Chandigarh Visa office. I am really stressed out as we reapplied really really late. I made the call, I know there is too much risk. Please keep me posted, if you get the visa then I will get the hope as well.

You mean your agent applied on Thursday the 14th? I’m not sure is that late is acceptable. I hope you get it soon. I applied late because of a problem regarding my GIC account. And my college is starting on 29th January, I even provided the proof for it. Still no update though.
