Hi Everyone,
Please I need somebody to help me here. We have to submit the study visa application tomorrow and I contacted the VAC Los Angelos office and they sent me the information below with regards to payment of Study Permit Application fee method:
isa Fee
Application Fees are accepted ONLY with Money Order or Certified Cheque.
- If paying in US funds: payment instrument payable to the Consulate General of Canada. Certified cheques must be drawn on a bank located in the U.S.
- If paying in Canadian funds: payment instrument payable to the Receiver General for Canada. Certified cheques must be drawn on a bank located in Canada.
- These financial instruments have a limited validity. Ensure that the instrument is not older than 3 months when it reaches our office.
However, I checked the cic website for the method of payment with regards to paper application and they accept payments by credit card processed on the cic website. The VAC is limiting to money order or certified cheque. Please confirm if this is correct.
Thanks,
Alice
