This is mazen, I have an issue and hope I could get it figured out, I found this website is very useful.
My issue is I am a student at a university in Canada I have been there for 3 years, first year I took my English, and second I started my major I took engineering in the beginning then I transferred to business administration, I did good on my first semester and on my summer corse, but I have failed the course of the fall and winter due to stress and death in the family. My issue was that my study permit was expiring on the 31/April/2014 I applied for extending my study permit on the 28th of February, online.
After, they have sent me am email saying I need to apply with papers I can not apply online, and they refunded the money to me.
I collected the papers again and sent them on the 23rd of April,2014. I realized that my passport will expires on the 26th of May,2014, it is document travel and was going to take two months to renew it inside Canada, so I called the immigration office, they said, " I would be under implied status, and my best option is to leave and go to my home country to renew my password then come back. I am Palestinian, I live in Qatar, I am a permeant residence of Qatar, so I left Canada I went to Qatar I renewed my password, and I don't have my study permit with me my application still in process, they told me I would hear something about it in mod June, but I have not yet. My TRP is expired too which allows me to enter Canada, I applied for TRV as returning student through Abu Dubai I sent the application via courier, on the 8th of June, I attached with my application the receipt that shows that I applied for extending my study permit when I was in Canada, and I had to go back to Qatar to renew my passport to have a valid passport.
On the 19th of June 2014,the Canadian embassy sent me an email asking for my transcript and that I am enrolled in school for 14/2015, and provide a bank statement shows that I am able to support myself, I contacted the university and asked for my transcript, and I transferred school I got accepted in collage to raise my marks and then transfer to university and complete my degree, I attached the original copies of my acceptance latter, transcript, and bank statement.
My questions are:
Am I going to get a visa or due to the poor academic I might get refused?
Am I going to get a new study permit?
What are the approximate process time after I submit the papers that they asked for, is it 22days or less than that since they are already went through my application?
I need help I feel my future is gone and I would be refused, I will study harder to increase my GPA And I want to complete to master inshallah.
I would appreciate if someone tells me anything about my situation.
