Does anyone know if someone gets a visa stamped on a Iraqi passport do they have the right to go to any airport ? And come Canada. Say instead of goin to Damascus airport go to turkey Istanbul airport would they let that person go ?

Having a visa for Canada does not mean you can just go anywhere you want - if you would normally need a visa to go to a country, then you still need it. Same for after you're a permanent resident of Canada.
I don't know what the visa requirements are for Iraqi citizens in Turkey are, but if they normally need a visa to visit, then that doesn't change because you have a visa for Canada. You'd still need a visa for Turkey (possibly a transit visa? I don't know the specifics).

Oh thanks for the reply. ya you might have to get one for turkey to. oh well I guess i have to send my passport to the embassy of syria ottawa to get one. wish it was like Turkey were you go to the airport pay for the visa they stamp on it and your on your way .

I'd like to change somewhat one of the the replies.
The fact of having Canadian residency does change the visa requirements you would normally have. For example, my Chinese wife, travelling under a Chinese passport, would normally require a consular visa to visit Costa Rica. But with Canadian residency, or any Canada visa valid for 6+ months for that matter, she would be able to travel to Costa Rica witho9ut getting a consular visa, and woudl receive an automatic 30-day visitor's visa at the border.
So, having a Canadian visa in your passport may well change the "normal" visa requirements of countries you are passing through.
WHat I DON'T know is whether the initial visa stamped in your passport creates the change, or only the permanent residence card that you receive after entering Canada.
