Visa almost expiring, am I still on time?

I have a study permit, and I just realized it is about to expire. (7 days)

Problem is, I'm enrolled at mohawk, fees are paid, and I'm in the middle of a semestre.

Can I still apply for an extension?

am I going to get deported? :S

(I requested the paperwork from mohawk for the extension already, but being slow as they are, they have yet to reply)

I'm really scared... I am about to cry :'(

If your campus has an international advisor, go there and talk to them NOW! (well, when the office opens). You need to get this sorted asap.

I always feel bad when I hear or see people who say they didn't know their study or visa has expired. Its something that should always be on your mind always. I extended mine when it was exactly three months to expire. Its very shameful.

You really are playing with fate here. You HAVE to talk to the international advisor on campus about this. Once your visa expires you can not continue studying. You can't go to class. If your TRV is still valid you can stay in Canada until you have a new permit, but you can not study.
