Hi fellow Vienna applicants.

Is there any news for anybody? Has anyone experience with connecting their application to MyCIC and how/if and when it changed? Ours hasn't changed since SA. I might be way too impatient since we got our SA only about 2-3 weeks ago, but I'm also curious what other Vienna VO applicants experience.

My current status on ecas:
in process - 1. application received March 29
2. started processing May 19
my sponsor:
decision made (that showed up 3 days ago although we got SA in May)
1. received March 29
2. AOR 1 April 23
3. started processing April 22

That's it. Nothing about medical on my side and nothing about SA on his.
MyCIC on adds medical under review. That has been there ever since I connected my application to it.

Application: open
Review of eligibility: Review in progress
Medical results: Passed

MyCIC eligibility has changed from Not started to in progress a few days after I connected the application to MyCIC (end July), but nothing else has changed since. Medical said passed from the very beginning.

That medical thing really worries me. My doc said he'd call if anything was wrong and he didn't. I don't understand it. Well, I've ordered notes and hope to find out more in a month.

Did you send the eMedical that the doctor printed out with your application? If so, I don't understand it either. Maybe Vienna will ask you for another one.

Yes, I did send it with my application. I also called my doctor today and he confirmed that he'd sent it off in February and also that the results were flawless.

CIC received my application for family sponsorship exactly 7 months ago. To be honest, i expected to be processed so far, having in mind some of the expediencies of the people on this forum. I was able to link my application and I saw that all things are in process and medical passed. I am hoping that in the next month I will get it. But I was expecting faster to be honest

i believe so unless there is stuff in your background check that will give you problems.. i seen someone from a different visa office get in process on their background check on sept 8 and on sept 11 they had a decision made

You must enter 2 for persons included in the application : the sponsor and PA in case there are no dependents.
Also, don't enter passport and place of birth info. It must be entered just one of them.

If any of the data CIC entered in their system is different you won't be able to link it first few times, just because you have to try guessing what and how it was written.
If you have ordered notes that will help you to compare.

It could be true but each case is unique. In ours which was pretty straightforward, the background check took several days but they sent us PPR request 2 months later. I am still guessing what was all about...

Wow, that would be awesome. I will write when I get it. I don't have any security issues, not even a parking ticket, so I am hoping that will go smooth. Thanks for encourage me again.
