Unbelievable :S I sent my passport to Ottawa to finalize my application on last Wednesday, with Xpress post, and the tracking number never appeared in the system. Now Canada post doesn't know where my passport is, was it delivered or not.

Does anyone know any way to contact CPC Ottawa to check if they received my passport, please? They have to receive it within next 10 days according to the email I got :S

Sorry to hear about it, but unfortunately I have no idea how to help. All I can do is tell you that the e-mail is correct, but he may do a case specific inquiry using this form: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=vienna&_ga=1.135436209.1431201804.1412712618

In your case, I would try the case specific, too, because I sent a few very important e-mails to the general one, and they never replied or they replied after I e-mailed them again after a month quoting that it has been a month and I didn't get a reply.

Also, if you do a case-specific, write "URGENT" at the beginning of your e-mail, because that is the only way they will reply quickly, or else it will take them at least 2 weeks or so.

My initial fear that they'd never reply was just. I'll have my hubby do the case specific inquiry when he gets home tonight.

Can't use that specific link. The PR card app was filed within Canada. This is for Vienna applications. Gonna try calling Vienna this week and ask them how to go about filing for a travel document (it can't be filed within Canada). Thanks for the help either way! =)

we received our COPR dated Nov. 18th, 2014, however with a Dec. 4th, 2014 validity date, at first we thought this was a typo, but after some research it appears that perhaps our Medical expired for my wife (i'm the sponsor).
We had a second medical done in Nov. 13th, 2014 as we knew it was expiring, however we didn't read the fine print that the medical expiration date is tied to the Landing date, not just the COPR date....

now we're scrambling to get a NEW COPR issued from vienna, we've submitted the updated medical with umi barcode , and are hoping that this resolves the issue and that we can get a new COPR letter from Vienna so that we can forward onto CPC Ottawa for processing with my wife's passport (as we're in Canada already), and then book our appointment with CIC for landing....

Does this sound like the correct process??

Hi, was your wife in canada for the whole proces? i'm guessing you applied outland but she was in canada? Did she get her medical done here? Can you tell me your experience in this process? Im canadaian my husband is Croatian we are in canada now I are planning on applying outland with him stying here in Canada.

If you couuld send me your experience in this that would be great.

Yeah And the worst part is that in the e-mail it said that is the recommended option, so I wanted to follow their instructions. Even if you use a courier they return it through Canada post :'(

Multiple applicants from this Thread have received their CoPR and travel visa immediately after the interview. Just make sure to have your passport with you and if you have not already payed the RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee) you may want to bring a Credit Card or make sure there is a bank nearby where you can transfer the funds after the interview.

So whats your problem at the beginning ? I didnt explained well what means AOR,so correct me.. If I heard that for some couples whole process goes pretty fast whats wrong with that.. We are not experts here,just share our stories,experience thru process and what we heard .. I know that the processing time of Vienna is 17 months. Maybe you dont know the meaning of heard others stories . And I said dont know what to believe and hoping thats the true what they said but it doesnt have to be. Somebody who applied in June 2014 have got their process done like @soucyyyy wrote . I see you became a professional adviser so hope you would not mind in the future if I ask you for some answers

For Viber: There is a option on the settings were it says email message history and it gives you the apportunity to email your messages to your own email address. What I basically did is after sending to my email I copy and pasted messages in Ms word document and printed them.Translated the best ones and included in the application.

For skype I have no idea .since I don't use it.
