Hi Avissa! Thank you! Medicals were done in June, Vienna got our file beginning of August 2013.
Our status on CIC changed to "In Process" last week.

I wish you and everyone else the same very soon...And maybe they won't ask others for new requests

Good luck and hopefully others from summer 2013 and onwards will hear some good news soon!!!

That's amazing you are one month before me. Please be so kind to let us know of any news. However, I don't think it would take more than a month for you guys to receive the wonderful visa email. Best of luck

Hi friends!

Vienna is alive! My husband got medical and police certificate re-do requests this morning (they expired over a year ago).
He will submit the new documents this week and next, so hopefully we'll be reunited before the New Year!
I will keep everyone updated on the status.

But now I am confused,how somebody can provide them if they request police certificate,new one,if that person is in Canada,not in home country.
Should I have to provide that from my home country,although I am not there or how? For medical panel physicians exist everywhere,so that I think ll not be problem. Just cross my mind,when time comes for me,them to require additional documents.
I hope they ll not require them,as I see somebody they require,somebody not.I dont know on based on what they make that decisions.

I was in Canada and needed 3 German police certificates in the last 3 years. It was no problem at all. It only took 10-14 days from my application until I received my police certificate

So should we infer that Vienna is working on August 2013 Applications now? Ours is October 15, 2013 when we filed our application it said 12 months. Do we have to wait 14 months now?

We have been told if your Medical and police report are a year old, Vienna has the power to renew them, If someone filed in August 2013 why do they have to spend more money for new medical and police report.

hello im trying to send a zip file to vienna but everytime when im sending the email to vienna i got an automatically message that it failes what can i do please can some on help me i have next week interview and need to send today my additional documents to them the zip file is 22 mb and im allowed to send till 25mb true outlook

Canada1990 maybe try sending multiple emails each with a part of your additional documents instead of sending everything at once. Just because you are able to send up to 25mb through your Outlook does not mean Vienna is able to receive attachments that big.

Did you use this e-mail - vienn-visa @ international.gc.ca - with space around @? If so, that's the problem, you need to send the files to vienn-visa@international.gc.ca, everything together, no space between words.

if processing times change it effects everyone in the category of sponsorship whether it goes up or down... when I applied it was 10 months..

its up to Vienna for re-do's of documents. sometimes they extend most of the time they don't..

When are you scheduled for the interview? Because if you have not been asked for one, there is chance that they won't ask you for an interview. Interviews are generally for cases that have red flags, as in, the case officer was not fully convinced about the intentions and/ or legitimacy of the relationship.

Hang in there it's almost over. You're already almost 12 months in so it would be (according to them) most likely only another 5 months. Don't redo the medical or the police certificates until they ask you because sometimes they extend it. I have a question though, what did it say on your gcms notes? had they started any part of the process by June?
