Hello bumpahead :)

When we landed last week the immigration officer told me the pr card would take 2-4 months for my wife. On the pr card thread last i read average wait time was 3 months. You should be fine by october.

Thanks for the quick reply :)

So you put your Canadian address under his name even though he's not here yet? Any particular reason behind that?

My husbands english is a little rough. so we sent in the USE OF REPRESENTATIVE form. it allows me to speak and to contact CIC on his behalf and we figure everything would evenually be on that adddress..

I landed on May 3 and am still waiting for my PR card :'( They told me it would take 90 days but the processing time online says 43 or something. I've waited around 70 days now. It's a neverending story :'(

It doesn't actually matter what the address in ecas is because:

I had my new address in ecas for over 12 months but Vienna sent my COPR to my old address. I only knew about it because I asked Vienna about my Decision Made on ecas and they told me they sent the COPR to my old address. I caught it last minute at the post office. It was already in the box to be shipped back to Austria.

Just send Vienna an email and let them know to which address you want the COPR shipped to avoid further disappointment ;)

My hubbys is the same as yours. I would not worry or change it if he is still living there. In my opinion you would maybe just confuse them by doing that . Gluck:) our timeline are very close :)

thanks for the info :)
Mississauga got our application Oct 10, 2013 and the file was received in Vienna Nov 5, 2013. I was hoping he'd be here by now, but seems like the waiting times are much longer now then few years ago.
Praying for all of you guys here to be reunited with your loved one asap!! :)

what are ATIP notes? I emailed the embassy few weeks ago, just to make sure they have everything and surprisingly the next day I got one of those half automated emails and they told me that they received the application in Vienna Nov 5, 2014.

Since we applied, they confirmed that I passed as a sponsor within 20 days. I got an email and a letter in the mail and that's all we have heard since then? Anything else we were supposed to get in the meantime? What's the next step?

The are called gcms notes you order them atip which found on the immigration website. It cost $5. The next step is you wait until Vienna contacts you. You may order the gcms notes in the meantime, but I suggest you wait. You are early in processing it won't tell you much. I rec'd mine last week it didn't tell me much only the he passed his medical criminal and that's it. I'm 13 months in I haven't heard anything. I really really hope they contact us soon. I don't want this drag on any further thsn it has to.. I hope they speed things for everyone going through Vienna. It really is a bit much.

Hi BumpAhead,
My husband landed Apr 25th and received his PR card on monday Jul 7th...72 days in total. On their website CIC just updated the PR card processing times from 94 to 43 days, so you might be lucky and get it faster. Either way, it won't be that long. :D

Thanks nada :)
As long as he gets it by october
We r going back home (bought tickets) haah so i hope they dont go to waste ;)
