I think you need to re-enter Canada when you get PPR. Senior members on the forum wrote about that as I remember. Smiley

Even though they say same rules for everyone that doesnt really male sense since all of us here had different experience
So stay and wait u might be lucky and not have to go back (if u can just cross over to the states or better yet go to CUBA ))))

Hahahaha my wife cant make homemade kore. She can make good cakes and some pastry. My mother in law make good pita and kiflice and bread....oh my it was good i didnt gain more weight for 3 months. Plus homemade ajvar and hot peppers uhhhh

I dont have visa for US,but if I try to go in,they deny me,and i have to go back,in Canada,but now as PR.That I understand it can be done.
I see in other treats people from july and august got PPR(or CORP) so I think us from september r not so far away to end,but as u say u never know with them.

First Medical done: 06.11.2012.
Sponsorship approved: 20.02.2013., we never received AOR
New Medical and new PC requested: 07.02.2014.
Second Medical done: 14.02.2014.
Requested documents received in Vienna: 18.02.2014.
Passport request: 28.04.2014.

Hahahaha i know but still i like to plan and know ahead of time instead of last minute going omg lol. Everything is slow and then you find yourself in a rush. Like i told my wife a few times to get her diploma, christening certificate and start finishing things up instead of running around last minute and she still doesnt listen

Why don't you try to get a deal from Serbia to Toronto and then get a separate deal from Toronto to Calgary.
For example..I researched with a Greek tickets site called "http://www.airtickets.gr/" and got a price for me the wife and baby with Turkish Airlines from my hometown in Greece to Istanbul and then to Toronto for the total cost of €1024 . On top of that they allow 2 suitcases of 23 kilos each per person and one of 23 kilos for the baby. (Total 5 suitcases plus stroller plus on board small luggage of 10 kilos each.
Then I got another offer searching Canadian internet with West Jet from Toronto to Calgary for 267CDN per adult. .Not bad?

I know for many of you in Central Europe the option for using Turkish Airlines may be not a solution but you never know!

Hi madam-m

You do not need a US visa as you will not be entering the USA. Just exit from the Canadian border go to the Flags area (halfway from USA) and just return to Canada and do your PR

Congrats!!!!!!!! Seems like you'll be making pies for your hubby sooner than you thought! I am very happy for you!

Also it gives me hope that I can expect a PPR in the next 20 days!

Thank you very much! I hope that you newpal, and TorontoASAP will be with your partners soon! I don't know did it help, but my husband went to his MP about 3 weeks ago. His MP was very kind, and told my husband to wait just a little bit, when our application will be 14 months in process, and if we don't get passport request by then, to call him again. As we didn't get request in a two weeks, my husband again called MP, and he said, okay, I'm going to call Vienna to see what's going on. And few hours later, he called back my man and said that Vienna told him our file is done, we can expect every day to be asked for passport. This happened last Thursday. I just wanted to share with you our experience with MP. :-*
