Roasting a lamb is an Easter Sunday tradition for us Greeks.. Poor little lambs. Funny thing is last week coming back from Sofia Bulgaria I saw two huge Tractor trailers full with little lambs ready to cross over for slaughter! I wish we never had this tradition to be honest but in the other hand traditions are traditions!
But we can always try the famous cake Little_apple makes. And perhaps I can bring a nice bottle of Lesbos Ouzo and sip it with some greek seafood appetizers (meze) and enjoy what ever summer Calgary can offer us.. bbbrrrrrr
I know that we are going to be for a big shock when we Greeks are used to long hot summers! ahahahhhaaaa ...Lets see!

Thanks for your friendship Milan. I pray for you and for everyone in our forum to finish with Vienna and get on with their lives

Tom

I love Greek food and drinks. There's a Greek restaurant one block away from where I live. It was really good but it was weird that the menu was totally different than the menu from my favorite Greek restaurant in Germany ;-)

I can't wait for summer. We had a mix of warm weather and snow in the last few weeks and a lot of grey sky which is not normal for Calgary. I hope the rainy season won't be as bad as last year. I want green grass, blue sky and high temperatures :-)

Hi emira,
Moj muz je isto iz bosne.. i also got married in aug but i applied on sept 19, got approved as sponsor 10 day later and the status of my application has not changed since:( its very depressing as i thought it would take about 5 months like it has with many other people i know who sponsored 3-5 years ago. All that to say i jut got back today from visiting him and still am hopeful for a 9-10 month max waiting period ( i know it could be more but the thought of 13 months is way too depressing!) i will keep u posted if we hear anything. Our case it quite simple we r the same age, no previous marriages,no kids, no millitary background, 4 year relationship prior to marriage. Not sure why they need this much time but regardless you are very lucky to be able to stay in bosna for an extended period of time :)

Heyy,

Im kinda hoping that it goes by much faster and we both get lucky as the other people did my friend came to Canada in july sad ce im godina dana kako su u kanadi, and her application took her 4 months when she told me that i got so excited thinking mozda ce i nama tako bit, but i dont know.

keeping my fingers crossed.

Your 10 months in...best you can do is request gmcs notes. Otherwise you will get a generic email from them saying it takes 13 months blah blah blah. Contact your MP same thing have you waited longer then the average processing times.

You can try contacting them but anyone will say you wont have much luck getting answers

We do it all :)

ok.. your right... ill order the notes.. thank you :)

I would like to send them an email to ask if my decision is positive or negative. This "waiting for the letter" game drives me nuts. Haven't slept in two night now.
But there is still nothing I can do. Wrote with a guy (also common-law) with the same situation, same timeline, additional documents at the same time, decision made at the same time - his was negative.

I know I should think positive but I can't :(

I ordered my notes and got decision made 4 days later. Bad timing :D
So I guess I get my notes after my decision letter

awww Little_apple,

Dont do that to yourself. Stay positive and positive things will happen.
I dont think it matters if you and that other person have simularites in applications. doesnt mean anything. Wait and see :)
