I also think this is great news because as far as I know they can request for a medical extension ONLY if the expired medical is the only reason stopping them from issuing a COPR and there hasn't been more than 15 months since the last medical examination. This is a way to save time from performing another medical and results are normally sent to London, they are in charge of medical assessment. That would mean they did everything else in your file so congrats! Could you please share your timeline with us again?

Hey guys.

I am glad that everyones application is proccessing. But it just looks weird that within a month of time. They have did several months backlog applications. Makes me wonder what they have done in the whole 2013. Since they werent on stike since october....Imagine if his was the speed last year we would all be with our families. And i think the immigration reform to process the application didnt gave them 10x the resources. I think they just looked into it. And people actually started working on the apps. Either way its a welcome change.
But i still wish for them to be in the same situattion one day.

Vienna did not participate at all in the PAFSO strike. So there is no excuse for strike time wasted.
As to why they got delayed in processing anyone from 2013 in 2013 I believe is because the whole of 2013 they were processing the backlogged 2012...

There was no form, they instructed that when i go to take the e-mail attachment with me. I don't now if you can do it or not.

The e-mail says - Chest x-ray done now (im assuming after the letter sent)
Also they dont give you the 60 days to send in the docs, only 30 days!

Hello everyone, I was wondering - since my husband’s PC is expiring in a couple of days and according to GSMC notes they haven’t even started criminal check yet they will most likely ask for a new one. The only thing is that he has been in Canada for 7 months now as a tourist. Can he require a PC from Canada even though he is not in the system? If so has anyone done this and please let me know how. Thanks so much!!!

CIC will do the Canadian Police clearance for you, your initial PC is good for a year after receipt by CIC and if they require another one they will let you know.

Guys help! My hubby went to do his chest x-ray and they told him they couldnt find him on file and they would contact London to see what's up! Also they said that they would send the results directly, i thought you had to mail them! What do i doo?? This feels like its never going to end :'(

They DO send the results directly. They only send you a receipt.
