I sent the request for GCMS notes by mail and received them by e-mail in just about 30 days.
The separation sucks, we had our share of ups and downs, but it's mostly patience and understanding. We talk every single day on skype and keep in touch all the time so we know what is happening on daily basis. It's really hard especially that he can't come here and for me to go is not so easy, as I have kids from my previous marriage. But we got through most of it and I hope it will be over soon. Just keep positive.
It will be hard without him when the baby comes, that's for sure. I hope you have some other family in Canada to help you out.

Aghhh, thank God for skype. We abuse it haha. Sometimes we just stare at each other...cus really theres nothing going on to be talked about every day, but we still do.
I wanted to ask, when you guys applied did you do the application urself, or did you use a lawyer or a representative?

My friend is starting all of this just now, she got married in november last year, and they told her back home its a guarantee if she gets a lawyer....which i think is false, since it says on the application noone can guarantee to speed the process

when i started my process, i went to immigrations office and i asked which way is faster to do or to hire a lawyer or i can do by myself , and they told me is same processing time , if you want to spendyour money just hire a lawyer,
i know how you guys feeling it is really stressful period of time ,

to your questions I was getting my PR, last month from Vienna after Interview, its false if you trust somebody to hire a lawyer if the Relationship is genuine i think couple can depend on it in the embassy so there no need of any lawyer i was file all my application and join this forum i got all my experience here. So advice her to do her own and no one can speed her process

I understand, i assumed its better to do it on your own since its all on there explaining how to do it.
My guess is thats its just slow cus of the strike, but the. Again who knows. Some ppl who applied after us got their PR already.

No, it was still showing they haven't started security or criminality.

IT TURNS OUT I HAD AN E MAIL FROM VIENNA!!!! Got it today, an interview invitation for 05 March! I am so confused and excited right now bcs I do not understand why they want me there bcs they are not asking me to bring additional proof of relationship, recent communication etc, just a new police certificate! If I remember everyone who had interview lately was asked to bring this, right Muby, alvin? Not even a new medical and mine is expiring these days, I don't get it!!! Tell me what you think guys, I'm kind of lost!

great news Milica, congrats!!! Your waiting should be over soon too . You were just visiting your husband in Canada so it is confusing as to what the interview is about..I don't think they should be questioning your relationship. Anyway, whatever it is you will do fine.

Hi - I might have been trying to do it wrong - to access online notes under which act is it done? Access to information act or privacy act - what is the difference between the two??? Thanks!
