I remember clearly, when my Mom and her husband were doing all of this, they applied in 1993 June and on August 12th we were landing as PRs. No kidding it's kind of different now. You can imagine my unbelief when I found out the 2013 processing time
But anyways, once I can order my GCMS notes, and find out that our interview is waived, I can sit on the next plane... But that will be long long long months later :-X

Just as Europe said, doesn't matter if I will be back to Canada before you and have the application finished, I won't disappear from this topic. I will help others who are and will be unfortunately in similar situation as us. I got a lot answer and courage from this topic, from you guys, it's the minimum from me to act the same and be there for others who is waiting.
So, don't worry dear Csilla, we are all here for you and we will be here always.

Let's hope we can open that champagne soon!

I wish from all my heart too that it will be decreased instead of increase it. They should not make us wait so long time... It's like they stole those months from our life...

So from now on just POSITIVELY yesss, October is a new month and the processing time will decreased and everybody waiting for so long will get the Pr
Ohhh, and by the way its not true that Tom wasn't right about September, it was really lucky for me :-[ actually I thought that my issue with my formal pr will take about half a year to end and to be able to go forward, but actually, As soon as CPCM told me what to do (and the seniors were sooo helpful here in the forum :-* ) So I sent my complete TDPR app August 29th, I had my interview done on Sept 12 th, sent the refusal letter to Julius on the 16th who sent it to CPCM 18th and surprisingly on the 20th of September we got the SA and the file was transferred to Vienna that day.

So for me.... It was very very very really fast and no waste of time. Only one month behind as I should be in a normal case. I think I should be grateful. And I am so far. Just PLEASE Vienna let me know somehow that I don't need an interview so i could calmly wait in Canada with my husband!!!! The worst times in a month is the special three or four days in a woman's life when our hormones are sooooo high because of ovulation :-[ :-[ ;D Gosssshhhhh those days makes me feel what Sunny just said!!! this process is steeling precious time from our lives... Aaahhhh grrrrrrrrr :-X

Me I just tried it when I was there and the hotel gave us a kind of welcome drink when we arrived, Ouzo mixed with fruit-juice. If I remember well it was orange.... But was really tasty. Of course, it's about taste, others are more about to keep the alcohols "pure" and not mix with anything. Me I prefer sweet drink, so if It's about to drink something stronger then I love more the cocktails.

Ouzo is not a drink that you can have with peanuts or almonds. Its a food combined drink.
Best recipe for it: Greek summer , 4 chairs one table, on the sand by the beach on late afternoon or early evening. 4 good friends of any sex sitting on the chairs by the beach. ouzo (preferably from the island of Lesbos) Kalamata olives, tomato, feta cheese, fresh sesame covered bread, anchovies and maybe if they are a little bit more hungry the plates I mentioned in my previous message!

Yeah, I was born and raised in Beograd. What you saw was probably a high school excursion, Serbian students often visit Greece that way. Mine was in the final year of high school, it lasted 9 days, I remember we managed to visit Meteora monasteries, Platamon, Epidaurus theater, Mycenae, Delphi, Olympia, spend 2 days in Athens, 3 days in Corfu, and a day in Thessaloniki on the way back. What do you say? A lot of sleeping in the bus but it was worth it

I am in love with the Greek coast, so far have visited just the Ionian islands which I find stunning - Corfu and Lefkada in detail and the other ones just on a one day cruise. I hear from my parents about Sithonia and Pillion, they were thrilled. Such a gift of nature. When you feel like recommending some place for me - would love that
