Thanks Lenchik :)

Just a quick question for you guys. In the email from Vienna, they told us we can either mail his passport or bring it to some place in Sarajevo and that they will mail it to Vienna. They Did did not tell us that we can bring it there to Vienna in person. I just want to make sure that my husband can actually go there personally to get his passport stamped because I remember reading somewhere that someone was actually told this in their email. Thanks :)

ok, I am on a spreadsheet: )

Europe, as far as I understood your husband had an interview. Could you please write, what kind of question he was asked? My hasband very nervous about this part.
Thanks

Made me chuckle. I have about a million answers in my head already, most of them, like you say, they wouldn't want to hear. :D And I am the calm one in this marriage. (but not the one who would go for an interview haha)

I've been abroad for nearly 14 months... since we met basically. And it sucks big time, in so many ways... not sure how I managed to stay sane.

New applicants are much luckier, your applications will be processed so much faster; some applicants submitted their paperwork at the end of August and have already arrived in Canada... some applicants had their sponsorship approved in 6 days... while some families have been waiting for years. Go figure.

The whole time you were staying in Canada?

I am staying in Vienna this all time. My husband will never agree to live separate.

BTW next week we will visit CAD embassy in Vienna with some questions, if anyone would like me to ask let me know.

I've been in Serbia (my wife's home country) since she's the applicant. I was born in Serbia but moved to Canada in '92. I came to Serbia for a vacation and never had any intentions of tying the know but it happened... and I've been here since. We're traveling to Canada for good in 2 days, and we are both super excited...

Have fun in Vienna, it's such a lovely city. Go and visit Rathaus, Prater, and as many castles as you can... don't forget to stop by Mariahilferstrasse. Vienna is fantastic, and it's even more beautiful during x-mas holidays. Subway (U-bahn) is super punctual and people are quite friendly. It's a bit on the pricey side but there's plenty of tradition in it. Directions to Canadian embassy can be found on CIC website - it's right at Schwedenplatz.

AAI see, congratulations. There so many Serbians that I know in Toronto in my area High Park. I even understand your language little bit: )

Im not really impressed with Vienna. I live here since April. Thank God we were travelling a lot and I didnt have to stay here the whole time. Yeah it is nice to stay in here for couple weeks, max 1 month but not for me. I cant make friends since most of peopledont speak English or dont want to speak English. I wouldnt agree with you about people being friendly, I wont even mantion how difficult is too get any document. You have to visit number of magistrats in order to find someone who would help. They even didnt want us to get married in here. They all were asking for apostile on my birth certificate. The only way to get this it was to go to the place where I was born or asked someone and get it, which is absolutely impossible for me. I have to say it was a big hustle for us.
By the way, I live on Mariahilferstrasse : )

Hey guys, we are going to mail my husband's passport, can someone please tell me the best service to use to mail his passport? Which is the safest way? Thank you!
