Looks like my file was sent to Missasauga back in Nov. Interview eligibility PASSED.
It looks like CPP reviewed my file few times last time in Oct.

I'm not sure what factors go under Eligibility, but selection interview and checks about genuineness of relationships are under that category.
What does it notes say about security? Does it say "passed" everywhere where security is mentioned or is "in process" or blank on some places?

Definitely next step will be appeal. Try looking it up on this forum. As lucky rain said there's lots of topics about appeals and what are procedures in those situations. What was the reason for refusal if I may ask?

Yes, I'm getting nervous. I quit my job one month ago, very exciting. BUT I have one more question to ask if anybody knows. Like I wrote a few times, my meds are already done and "in the system". Do you think Canadian customs officer will see that when I enter Canada? I'm afraid to tell the purpose of my visit for 6 months is visitng my boyfriend, because that may raise doubts in their heads about me not returning back to my country. But if I say the purpose of my visit is visiting friends and that information about my meds is visible to them, they will say: what is this, you have a significant other in this country blablabla. I apologize, I probably sound like a paranoid freak, but I can't help it :-[

You haven't sent your application yet so I doubt that your medical alone is in their system. Anyhow I can't be sure about that. Start a new topic and ask about it. Senior members would know the answer. That topic will also help others and you will put your mind at ease when you get some answers.
This is not your first time visiting Canada, right? What you said to immigration officer last time you visited? Say the same thing again and you'll be fine.

Me, emotionally? With this process behind us I can say that I'm emotionally stable right now. lol
On a serious note, it's way easier to plan your life when you don't have to think about this process anymore. Although I can't say that I'm not a bit nervous about preparations. Also that crappy feeling that I have to leave family and friends is in the air every day. I'm leaving April 13th. I quit my job at the end of February. Everyone at work was supportive knowing what we are going trough. My boss was informed about my process and he was ok with it. He gave me green light to quit whenever I want. I gave them notice anyway month prior quitting. Just wanted to be fair so they can find someone to replace me. So all is well with the world

How many pages of GCMS have you received? My notes were on 23 pages. This part looks similar to mine and that's on first few pages of notes. Though at mine status "passed" is with eligibility, medical and crime. The rest was blank. When it's blank it doesn't mean that they haven't started yet. It says on the first page that certain information qualify for exemption. I cant explain what HIRV means. Tried to google it when received mine notes and couldn't find anything that makes sense about it. Obviously it's some kind of abbreviation. Everything is more detailed in GCMS with statuses and dates in the section called history. At least in my notes it is.
I don't know why you are stuck in background checks... It could be if you are associated with organizations, groups or political parties or because of your job. Those things could be also the reason of longer background checks.

Perhaps there is a better website.. but after searching and searching and searching some more.. I have never found anything that comes close to Momondo.com ...... it is like the Google of flight searches. I have used it several times and am 100% certain I could never have flown to europe cheaper.. Give it a try guys! Hope it helps someone out

Hi Serdj First of all, congrats!!! what a long road this has been for you! To be finally finished... I can only begin to imagine what that must feel like.

Well my app isn't moving along as I had hoped it would. It arrived in Mississauga Jan 13 and as soon as I seen CIC update their site to Jan 25th... I called... They still don't have any record of it in their system, an email was sent by the person I spoke with to Mississauga to get the ball rolling on my app... (that was on March 16). I called again today, still nothing new. The man said it certainly isn't lost because registered mail showed it has arrived, he has heard of others with the same problem lately, he recommended calling back once a week to see what is happening. I have already booked my (only 2 days vacation... because I started less than 1 year ago at my current job, that's all i get)... to fly and help my wife come to canada mid june. Hopefully it will be done by that point. Then I only need 1 way tickets, and not return too! Honestly I expected it to be in Vienna no later than March 20 when I first handed it in... Looks like that prediction is long gone. Just so frustrating not being with your wife and seeing your son grow up on skype... I get very sad after skype is over I can not wait to be with them ASAP! your recent success gives me hope! Congrats again !!!
