Hey guys. If one-way is too expensive then book a return flight and cancel the return after you arrived in Canada. I did it, too. One-way was 1800 Euros, return 730 Euros. So I booked return and canceled the other flight after being in Canada for a few days

Thanks... That is what we will do. I can book the return to the cheapest date.

There was a memeber on this forum, sponsor2012, from Macedonia. They requested passport from her on the 11th October 2013, she sent it by Fedex, and it arrived in Vienna on the 15th October 2013. Vienna informed her that passport is ready to pick up on the 21st October 2013, and she got it by Fedex again on the 25th October 2013. :D This is the only information I know about that. :D :-*

Well then, we should be expecting it soon hehe thank you for all the information you ar very helpful :-*

I guess the are the declaration forms of your personal belongings. There are 2 of them 1 when you land and another if you ship anything and its arriving. As well what does a pr put in declaration card? And do you need a picture as well with passport, copr, b form?

Ok, so i guess he will only fill out the one when he lands here....and hes not really bringing much except some clothes and a lot of books...he cant part with them hehehehe

Not sure about ur last question, r u asking what he sent in with his passport? If so...he sent the original, also a copy of first page with all info and picture ( he didnt send a new picture separate as i understood they just asked for a copy of the front page of the passport where all the information is) and also they asked to conform his current address, so we just wrote a little letter saying that the address still remains the same as they have on file and thats all he sent.

That is cheap....from calgary the average is 1500-1700 for a ticket depending what day and time of year. Sometimes you can find a ticket for 1200-1400. I always thought one ways were more expensive and doesnt really look good at time of landing.

From Toronto, 2 way the cheapest i ever found was $725 hehehe thats half of what u guys pay...i guess its cus u save on ur car insurance :pppp

Also what do u mean it doesnt look good at time of landing?? Should we buy a return ticket??? Even though he is coming to live here???

Hahahaha i know but still i like to plan and know ahead of time instead of last minute going omg lol. Everything is slow and then you find yourself in a rush. Like i told my wife a few times to get her diploma, christening certificate and start finishing things up instead of running around last minute :) and she still doesnt listen

Ur wife is like my husband, aaaalways leaves everything to the last minute, then he says i guess i should have started this earlier, then i start to express my self through Viber stockers, and it gets ugly at times heheheheh

You and your lovely wife are in a same situation as my husband and me, except we are going to settle in Toronto. :D We'll also need tickets as you do, return for my husband who will come to take me, and one-way-ticket for me. :D And as you said, it is sometimes cheaper to take both return tickets, although we won't use it probably. :D :D Tickets are the smallest problem, lets us get passport requests first. :D

We r going to be neighbours :))))

Hahahahaha nekad smo bas blesavi :) we laugh and joke alot. But both can be stubborn lol. She sends me a picture today of tommy shoes (beletanke) costs over 100 euro i told her to buy them, she really likes them but no she wants to get hair extensions because she kept cutting her hair short and i kept saying stop. So i send her pics from last summer showing how long her hair was and i just ask her will you listen to me now hahahaha :) :) she said yes....but that wont last i know it hahaha

U have noooo idea how hard it is to choose between hair and shoes!!!! And by showing her her long hair u r not making things any easier hehehe :)))

I'm not sure if any of you guys know about Condor airlines. My mother in law sometimes uses this airline because they have very cheap tickets North america > Europe. The only downside is they do these flights to North America only between May - October. A flight from Frankfurt to Vancouver in June costs 400 euros.

@ BumpAhead: I found flights on Condor.com from Belgrade to Calgary with a price varying from 600 - 900 dollars, depending on the routes. The cheapest ones have stops in Frankfurt and Seattle, the more expensive ones ($900) have stops in Frankfurt and Vancouver (I personally wouldn't want to have to stop in the USA). The date is June 5th and it's a one way ticket.

You can have a look here: http://www.condor.com/ibe/cfi/us/flight/search.xhtml

I've read a lot of reviews for the company and I think for the price is a good deal. They don't have fancy meals and the seats don't offer much legroom, but if you want to save money flying from Europe to North America, this is the most economic way.

FYI: Condor is a German company with its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main and they've been operating since the early '50s. The parent company is Lufhtansa Group (formerly known as Thomas Cook Group). They have 77 destinations with only 54 being year-round (that's why the ones to North America are only between May-October).
