VFS Office not accepting application earlier thn 4months for Student Visa, ?

Dear All,

I tried to apply through VFS office for Student Visa for September Intake, but they have refused to receive application before 4 months. They said you must apply online for it or apply for May Intake or wait till May to apply for Sep Intake. Any advise what to do? how to apply online?

It is Saudi Arabia and I am Pakistani national.

I am about to submit my application and going through the process on tuesday. I will tell you whole process after that. Do you know letter of explanation for Canadian visa process. Is it SOP and if it is then what are the circumstances?

go for online application i applied 9 months before session and ALLAHAMDULLIH i got my visa 2 months ago my session will start in sept 2014

WRONG!
VAC officer has nothing to deal with it.
In fact, they are not authorize to give such statements "you must apply online for it or apply for May Intake or wait till May to apply for Sep Intake".
Many of my friends secured their VISAs 6-7 months prior to the intake date.

On www.cic.gc. ca CIC says "you should apply for VISA as SOON as possible".

Apply as soon as you receive your letter of acceptance. The times needed to process your application may vary among visa offices. Check our application processing times for details.

Read the info on that link and specifically asked vfs about this. All they say is they can only accept visa applications of those who have applied for May Intake. It seems that I have to wait till June to submit mine.
