VFS global closed in my location and got a request for biometric! Need help!!!

Hi guys.

Supposed to be i have my biometric schedule at VFS global Dhaka for my Wife Open work permit online application but due to COVID-19, their office is closed.
What can I do now about the biometric test?

Is there anybody here in this forum has same experience as i am? Please advice me on what to do.

As long as the biometric collection centers are closed and you receive the email from CIC requesting you to provide the biometric. Even though the biometric request letter came with an expiry/deadline date but that expiry is revoked due to corona and you will have until the VACs open again. You may not need to contact CIC but it is good to get a written confirmation through IRCC webform.
Your file would not be rejected due to delay in providing biometrics as the VACs are closed due to Covid.
